Position: Quality Assurance Technician

Shift: 7:00 am to 5:30 pm Mon-Fri and weekends as needed
Location: University Park, IL

Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality checks to ensure product specifications are met
• Prepare certificates of analysis and bills of lading for shipments
• Perform finished product testing on all goods produced
• Assist with environmental, water, and micro swabs for lab analysis preparation
• Verify compliance with HACCP documentation
• Hold/releases and dispositions products per standards
• Calibrate and verify calibration of equipment
• Inspect production lines before and after manufacturing
• Confirm repairs and inspections on food contact equipment
• Inspect rejected or returned products
• Support customer complaint investigations
• Verify outbound seals on railcars
• Record pertinent data accurately

• Creative, adaptable, and energetic self-starter

Skills:

• Quality Control Inspection
• Product testing and environmental sampling
