Duties and Responsibilities:

• Empty trash cans and take to dumpster
• Clean workspaces, common areas, offices, hallways, and bathrooms
• Dust/sanitize countertops, desks, surfaces
• Wash windows, walls, and glass
• Clean building floors by sweeping/mopping/vacuuming
• Clean bathrooms and stock them with soap, toilet paper, paper towels and other supplies
• Scrub sinks, basins, and toilets in bathrooms
• Assist with other cleaning tasks as needed
• Keep all assigned areas neat and tidy
• Notify manager when the building needs repairs/replacements
• Keep buildings secure by locking doors after cleaning
• Follow all safety procedures
• Maintenance and upkeep of all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products
• Ensure safe and sanitary storage and care of products

Requirements and Qualifications:

• General knowledge of cleaning products, supplies, and techniques for cleaning
• Prior cleaning experience
• A high standard for cleanliness
• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions
• Organized and able to follow a schedule
• Time-management skills
• Physical stamina
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening (substance free workplace with zero tolerance drug policy)
• Ability to work well alone and with a partner or team
• Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties
• Positive attitude
• Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during the daily routine, with ability to stand for long lengths of time; physically able to push vacuum cleaner for extended periods of time; ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
• Able to work evenings/nights
