An Automotive Technician plays a critical role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles. This position requires expertise in using manufacturer-specific diagnostic tools to accurately identify vehicle issues and independently perform repairs and maintenance tasks. The technician services a combination of vehicle types with minimal travel involved, ensuring vehicles operate safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle diagnostics using manufacturer-specific tools
- Conduct engine repairs and maintenance
- Maintain and repair brake systems
- Service and repair vehicle transmissions
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and components
- Engage professionally with customers regarding vehicle issues and services
- Execute preventive maintenance tasks to avoid future breakdowns
- Replace worn or defective parts following manufacturer guidelines
