Job Title: Nurse Educator Profession: RN Specialty: Nursing Inservice Education Duration: Temp to Perm Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Experience: Minimum of 3 years as an RN with at least 2 years of Med/Surg experience License: Client RN License Certifications: BLS certification required Must-Have: Master's degree in education required Solid clinical background Description: The Nurse Educator is responsible for guiding, coordinating, and directing the development and maintenance of a system of evaluation for nursing care, practices, and procedures. The role includes the evaluation of nursing personnel within the clinical service. The Nurse Educator defines, implements, and maintains standards of nursing practice. In addition, the role evaluates the quality of nursing care rendered within the clinical service. Candidates should possess a strong foundation in Med/Surg nursing and clinical expertise. This position offers a full-time opportunity after an initial 8-week assignment.
