Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments, gathering critical information about clients' mental health concerns, previous experiences, and available resources.

  • Provide therapeutic interventions, including individual, family, and group therapy, utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused brief therapy, and trauma-informed practices.

  • Create and implement comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that outline specific goals and therapeutic interventions tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

  • Engage in close collaboration with a team of psychiatrists and psychologists, coordinating care to ensure holistic support for clients.
  • \n
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop safety plans, especially in crisis situations, to safeguard clients' mental and physical health.
  • \n
  • Document all client interactions, assessments, and treatment updates promptly and accurately, adhering to ethical and legal standards in record-keeping.
  • \n
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions and psychoeducation classes aimed at equipping clients with coping strategies and community support.
  • \n
  • Participate actively in team meetings and client reviews to ensure effective treatment approaches and continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve individuals undergoing detoxification from drugs or alcohol, as well as those struggling with co-occurring mental health disorders. This unique client population requires a compassionate and knowledgeable approach, as you will support clients in dealing with not only their substance use but also underlying emotional and psychological issues that may contribute to their circumstances.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

  • Current Massachusetts state licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
  • \n
  • A minimum of two years’ experience providing mental health services in an outpatient or detox setting.

  • Proficient understanding of therapeutic modalities and their application in treatment.
  • \n
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and clinical assessment skills, with a focus on building rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Experience in crisis intervention and crisis management, particularly within detox environments.

  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems for accurate documentation and reporting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer:
