Remote Academic Specialist

To support a diverse range of students, the part-time Remote Academic Specialist will teach humanities-focused high school and early-college courses, prioritizing candidates who can cover multiple subjects up to AP level and preferably speak Mandarin. Key responsibilities Instruct students in various humanities subjects, including English, social studies, and introductory college courses Provide flexible, remote teaching services for 8-20 hours per week, accommodating weekday and weekend schedules Engage with international students and adapt teaching methods to support their learning needs Required qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher from a top 30 US or Canadian college or university Strong interest in teaching and supporting international students across varied levels Ability to cover multiple subjects, including AP courses Familiarity with online learning platforms
