About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 24 months minimum in Med Surg / Med Surg Tele License: Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license Certifications: BLS - Basic Life Support Must-Have: Proficiency caring for all patient types in a Med Surg environment Experience with Heparin EPIC experience Recent charge or precept experience Telemetry/cardiac background highly preferred Description: We are seeking motivated individuals who can adapt to the evolving needs of our unit. Candidates should demonstrate a willingness to support colleagues in their learning and growth. A positive attitude and innovative ideas are highly valued in our team culture. The unit cares for a diverse range of medical-surgical patients. You will need to float to various campuses as required. Ideal candidates will have a comprehensive understanding of medical-surgical care. Strong telemetry skills are preferred. The patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 4-5:1.
