Inventory Control Clerk

Company Description Job Description
- Perform counts and ensure all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company policy
- Maintain adequate inventory levels to meet customer demand
- Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventories
- Assess inventory output on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to identify trends in productivity
- Coordinating with other departments to resolve discrepancies
- Work cross-functionally, becoming a subject-matter-expert in multiple areas of each department.
- Abide by all company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 1+ year of related warehouse experience preferred
- Experience with Warehouse Management System is a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with databases and spreadsheets.
- Knowledge of retail or distribution center operations,
- Strong analytical and math skills
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work overtime when required/some weekends
- Ability to follow direction and multi-task
- The employee frequently is required to walk or stand for long periods of time.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Enjoys critically analyzing information.
- Detail conscious.
- Sees tasks to completion
