Description: Founded in 1954 to meet medical needs of the community. An 8-bed Cardiovascular ICU is available, along with expanded cardiac rehabilitation and outpatient therapy departments. There is a pre and post cardiac catheterization lab area serving three cardiac catheterization labs. The unit has 16 beds with a patient ratio of 2:1. Equipment includes IV pumps and ventilators. The Electronic Health Record system used is Meditech. The patient population includes adults, all above the age of 18. This position may require floating within the department. Weekend hours may be needed, and call requirements are in place. A dress code applies, with scrubs required in royal blue. All candidates must demonstrate the required skills and experience relevant to ICU nursing.
