At Mount Vernon Health Care Center , exceptional resident care begins with exceptional nursing leadership. As a facility under new management , we are building a culture centered on clinical excellence, teamwork, and compassionate care—and we're looking for an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to help lead the way.

We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and motivated nursing leader who is passionate about supporting residents, mentoring staff, and maintaining the highest standards of quality care. Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Oversee aspects of the nursing department, including staff management and patient care

• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans

• Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff

• Ensure adherence to resident rights and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations

• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff to promote a positive work environment

Requirements:

• Strong Leadership and Supervisory Skills

• Unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice with previous DON or ADON experience.

• Rehabilitation Focus, Wound Care Experience, Knowledge of Medicare A & B, Willing To Work With Behavior Management Residents

• Enjoy working with the Elderly, MDS/Care Plans, Willing to work 2 Weeks a Month, Previous CNA/CMT instructor certification and have excellent regulatory compliance record and commitments to TQM (Total Quality Management)

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor staff
  Familiarity with healthcare systems and regulations, including HIPAA compliance
