Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical assessments and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging results and laboratory findings
• Work alongside surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment strategies
• Provide critical support in the OR, including room preparation, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and managing surgical instruments
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Pursuit of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical experiences is highly recommended

Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
