Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n RN - Cath Lab /n/n Job Details: /n • Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM /n• Weekend and night call requirements /n• 2 years catheterization lab/procedural/sedation experience required /n• NY RN license required /n• Provide assessment, monitoring and intervention for cardiac procedures including left and right heart catheterization, coronary stents, balloon valvuloplasty, pericardiocentesis, structural heart procedures, intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella and EKOS /n• Serve as member of Emergency On Call Team (STEMI Team) /n• Administer oral and intravenous medications to patients /n• Manage patients under sedation and monitor for adverse reactions /n• Educate patients and families regarding surgical site care, lifestyle, medications, and postoperative information /n• Manage paperwork including patient consent forms, charting, lab results and procedure documentation /n• Collaborate with other medical staff as needed /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory providing advanced interventional cardiology services.
