Assist in developing and implementing nursing care plans and ensuring they are followed. Conduct regular assessments of resident care and ensure documentation is accurate and up-to-date. Monitor and maintain nursing supplies, equipment, and medications. Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering a positive work environment. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance efforts. Monitor and help prevent infections throughout the facility by following safety guidelines and educating staff on proper infection control practices. Track infection trends, complete audits, and work with the nursing team to keep residents and staff safe and healthy. Qualifications of an Infection Preventionist (LPN): Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current licensure in the state of New Jersey. Proven experience in a nursing leadership role, preferably in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
