Registered Respiratory Therapist II

Role Respiratory Therapist II responsible for delivering complex respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment, primarily in critical care settings. Responsibilities Administer aerosolized medications, manage ventilators, perform airway procedures, and analyze arterial blood gases. Collaborate with healthcare teams to plan and implement patient care. Educate patients, families, and support staff, while participating in staff development and quality improvement initiatives. Ensure patient safety, accurate documentation, and compliance with policies. Support invasive and non-invasive procedures, including pulmonary diagnostics and cardiac services. Qualifications Associates or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy (preferred). Certifications include NBRC-RRT, Respiratory Care Prof, BLS, and ACLS. 0-2 years of clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care. Skills Strong communication, critical thinking, teamwork, assessment, computer proficiency, and customer service skills.
