We are now hiring a welder trainee to join our comprehensive training program! As a welder trainee, you will be responsible for mastering welding skills, operating equipment safely, and assembling metal parts with precision. You will undergo a comprehensive training program to qualify for a full-time welding position.

Responsibilities:

• Pass and maintain required welder certifications and qualifications.
• Operate overhead cranes and welding equipment safely.
• Set up and adjust welding equipment for proper weld quality.
• Weld and assemble metal components in various positions.
• Heat, form, fit, and position materials for welding.
• Read blueprints, follow work instructions, and use measuring tools accurately.
• Maintain quality standards and attention to detail.
• Cross-train and support various production areas as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Work effectively independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain reliable attendance and perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency with tape measure, assembly, production, hand tools, mechanical assembly, power tools, and manufacturing mechanical tasks.
• Welding experience or certification through an educational institution.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Job Type & Location:

This is a permanent position based out of Mc Connellsburg, PA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
