General Description The staff physical therapist has the responsibility for evaluation, consultation and treatment of patients, as well as, the overall utilization, supervision and instruction of professional and supportive staff, volunteers and students in their area of physical therapy as it pertains to the care of their patients. Responsibility Is proactive in ensuring that patient is progressed to prior level of function or maximum medical improvement per Plan of Care. Performs an appropriate assessment on each patient, as related to the therapy requested and reassessments as per policy. This includes pediatric, adolescent and geriatric patients and the general patient population.
