Job Title: ER/Acute Care Registered Nurse

Description:
The position includes responsibilities in both the Emergency Room and Acute Care.
The schedule consists of 6 consecutive working days followed by 8 days off.
Typical workdays are Thursday through Tuesday, from 1800 to 0630.
Flexibility to switch to day shifts if necessary is required.
The unit serves an average of 100-150 ER patients a month.
It features 4 ER bays and one trauma room.
The RN will assist with 4-6 patients simultaneously, including acute, observation, and skilled swing bed patients.
A two-nurse model is implemented, where both nurses share responsibilities for hospital and ER patients.
A Certified Nursing Assistant is also assigned to the shift.
Occasionally, the RN may need to administer medications to long-term care residents overnight.
This situation is rare but may occur if a resident requires medication when the LPN is unavailable.
