Here, you will make an impact by:Lead new business development activities for Automotive Vertical Electrical and Electronics ArchitectureLead new technology identification, organizational learning, and market/competitive insights through Trend Analysis, Secondary Research, and Customer engagementPartner with Vertical ADE and Platform Portfolio and R&D teams to progress technology hopper from the Spark idea phase to Build Business CaseEnable sales opportunity pipeline generation by creating sales enablement tools to support Vertical Key Account Managers and Application EngineersPartner with Platform Portfolio and TEBG Marketing to execute NPI commercial launch plansConsults with Account Based Marketers, Marquee and Key Account leaders, Vertical and Platform R&D for customer workshop design and executionConsults with TEBG Marketing to provide input to industry focused marketing plans, campaigns, and customer technology eventsYour Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)Seven (7) years of combined experience in New Product Commercialization, Marketing, Strategy, Sales and/or technical roles in a private, public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Master's degree in Business or Technical disciplineExperience in solving complex customer design challenges in a technical, sales, or marketing role in the Automotive market environmentExperience in leading and influencing cross-functional projects and teamsPrior experience in sales, business leadership, or technical role in the Automotive marketExperience successfully commercializing new product platforms in the Automotive marketWork Location: Onsite in Maplewood, MN or Livonia, MITravel: May include up to 10% internationalRelocation Assistance: Not AuthorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
