Description
Job Overview: We're looking for a motivated and customer-focused Baker to join our team. In this role, you'll prepare and serve fresh, high-quality baked goods while ensuring exceptional customer service. If you're passionate about baking and delivering a great experience, we'd love to have you on board!
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely prepare, bake, and package products following company guidelines (Cinnabon and Auntie Anne's).
- Greet customers with a smile and provide friendly, prompt service.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow all food safety, handling, and sanitation standards.
- Monitor product freshness and rotate stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
- Upsell and suggest additional items to customers to increase sales.
- Record food and refrigeration temperatures twice daily.
- Assist in managing inventory and stocking supplies to meet daily demand.
- Operate the cash register, handle transactions, and balance cash at the end of the shift.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to follow instructions, maintain attention to detail, and work independently.
- Food safety and handling knowledge is a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously for up to 8 hours.
- Ability to bend, twist, and occasionally climb ladders.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to varying temperatures (hot ovens, refrigerated areas) and noise levels.
