Position Summary The regional manager leadership role is ideal for a high-performing tax professional and people leader who thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in scaling a premier advisory platform. As the regional manager, you will oversee office operations, cultivate a high-performance culture, and mentor the next generation of tax leaders. You will drive strategic growth, manage premium client relationships, and directly influence the long-term vision within the HK platform. Responsibilities Operational & Cultural Leadership Lead designated location office operations, culture, and performance. Shape the long‑term vision for Arizona within the HK platform. Foster a collaborative, high-performing office environment. Mentor and develop tax professionals and leadership teams. Build internal leadership pipelines through active coaching. Guide staff career progression and technical skill enhancement. Client Management & Strategic Advisory Drive client relationships and strategic advisory engagements. Deliver high-level tax planning and compliance solutions. Serve as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth clients. Growth & Market Expansion Partner on growth initiatives, market expansion, and acquisitions. Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities in designated region. Integrate merged or acquired practices into the regional framework. Oversee areas of supervision for staff which include hiring, coaching, training, counseling, and oversight of the department or area of supervisory responsibilities. Continue learning by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining personal networks. Demonstrate patience, humility, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. Communicate personably and tactfully with customers of varying technical knowledge levels. Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills, and Requirements) 10+ years of experience in public accounting, tax compliance and consulting. CPA designation required. Proven track record serving high-net-worth individuals and business owners. Strong leadership and team development skills. Expertise in complex tax planning, compliance, and advisory services.
