Responsibilities

• Practice at our flagship campus, FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, a 402-bed acute care regional referral center in Pinehurst, NC.
• Join a stable, established in-house Hospitalist program with a strong core group of physicians, excellent retention, and a collegial team environment.
• Dedicated Nocturnists provide nighttime coverage.
• Collaborative inpatient services include Hospital Medicine, Critical Care/Intensivists, Neurology, Pediatrics, and Geriatrics.
• Easy access to a broad range of specialty and subspecialty support, including Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Critical Care, Gastroenterology, Infectious Disease, Pulmonary Medicine, Neurology, and more.
• Supportive administration and strong relationships with specialists and other members of the medical staff.
• Desirable 7 on/7 off block schedule 180 shifts per year, providing excellent work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Completion of ACGME- or AOA-approved Internal Medicine residency and board certification are required.
• Must have clean background, ability to get NC licensure and NC DEA.
• AHA ACLS certification required.
• Superior clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a high acuity Hospitalist program highly desired.
