Located in Valdosta, GA Salary: $15.00 Express is looking for a reliable Machine Operator one of our great Valdosta clients JOB DESCRIPTION: The chosen candidate will assist as needed throughout the facility to include but not be limited to:- Pull materials to fill orders via a pick ticket in an organized fashion
- Check pulled goods quantity and type against sales orders to confirm accuracy
- Assist in the operation of a Metal Building Insulation Machine
- Load customer or company vehicles with ordered goods in a secure fashion
- Place orders via computer sales order process as instructed by the Supervisor as necessary
- Unload and receive stock replenishment materials into warehouse per prescribed company goods receiving process checking the accuracy of quantity received and the quality of goods received
- Mechanically inclined
- Identify product numbers and alpha/numeric codes
- Basic understanding of general mathematics
- Operate material handling equipment including:
- Forklift
- Pallet Jack
- Shrink Wrapper
- Learn and use computer entry and recall for data.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs .
- Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements.
- Comfortable working in both quiet and high-traffic environments.
- Ability to work around insulation/fiberglass
