Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol Inspection in University Park, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment while demonstrating Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour

1. DayTime Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
2. Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
3. Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
4. Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology-focused office spaces, parking areas, loading docks, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas; verify access credentials in accordance with site policies; and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicating observations and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
