All patient rooms are privateTreatment Team consists of RNs, Surgical Technicians Patient Care Technicians & Unit Clerks. – all located on the unit.Our team consist of 24/7 In-House ProvidersObstetriciansMidwivesOB residentsPediatriciansNeonatologistAnesthesiologistCRNAMaternal Fetal Medicine availableWe require 13 weeks of orientation OB Core Course. (Provided as part of orientation)Shifts Available: 7:00 pm-7:30 am shifts. Status Available: Part time Every Other Weekend and Every other Holiday per year required for Full-time and Part-Time team members.Required Qualifications:EducationGraduation from a school of nursing that results in the ability of the graduate to sit for the NCLEX exam to become licensed as a Registered Nurse. BSN preferred.New graduate nurses, requires licensure examination scheduled within 45 days of hireLicensureCurrent State of Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License.BLS.ACLS required for the following departments : Float Pool, Cardiac/Cath Lab, AICU, EmergencyExperienceGraduation from accredited nursing program.Effective January 1, 2013 all new hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five (5) years from date of hire or transfer to an RN role.Knowledge of nursing theory, practice and age specific needsInterpersonal skills necessary to initiate and maintain collegial relationships with coworkers and therapeutic relationships with patients and families.Critical thinking skills necessary to perform principal duties and responsibilities of job description.Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when planning and performing professional nursing careTotal Rewards and Benefits:Competitive compensation, DAILYPAYBenefits effective Day One!
