The Karen Hughes State Farm Agency in Visalia is looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join our team. 

We're a well-established local agency that takes pride in building lasting relationships with our customers and providing exceptional service. We work closely together, support one another, and believe that taking great care of people is the foundation of a successful business.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
In this role, you'll help our customers with their everyday insurance needs, answer questions, resolve concerns, and identify opportunities where we can provide additional assistance.

Insurance experience is a plus, but it's not required! We're happy to provide training and pay for the licensing needed to help the right person succeed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide friendly, professional customer service in both English and Spanish, in person and over the phone.
• Assist existing customers with policy changes, billing questions, coverage inquiries, and other service needs.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Maintain accurate customer records and follow up on outstanding requests.
• Work closely with other team members to ensure customers receive timely, knowledgeable assistance.
• Recognize opportunities to help customers with additional insurance and financial services needs and connect them with the appropriate team member.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative office environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Fluent in English and Spanish (required) — comfortable communicating with customers in both languages.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, patient, professional, and genuinely enjoys helping people.
• Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable multitasking and working in a busy office environment.
• Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and work as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Insurance experience and a California Property & Casualty license are a plus but not required. We provide training and pay for required licensing.
• Must be available to work full-time, in person, at our Visalia office.
