Line Cook

Angel Fire Resort is seeking experienced Line Cooks to join our team for the winter season! The ideal candidate will have experience working in commercial kitchens and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful applicant will be able to follow all food handling procedures, will strive to consistently produce quality products, and will work well on a team. Line Cooks are essential to creating a positive experience for the guests of the resort. Base Pay Starts at $16/hr depending on experience Location Angel Fire Resort restaurants Employee Type Hourly, non-exempt Job Category Seasonal full and part time Required Certs or Licenses Food Handler Cert ( Attendance Regular, predictable, punctual, and in-person attendance is essential, includes weekends and holidays Minimum Age 18 Estimated start date Early December Employee Housing Employee Benefits Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Prepares and cooks food using fryers, ovens, stoves, grills, flat tops, and other kitchen equipment Follows prep duties and recipes to ensure consistency and quality in product Regularly cleans and sanitizes work station, maintains a clean and organized kitchen Works well on a team and takes direction from kitchen manager accordingly Upholds proper hygiene and sanitation practices (Other Duties May Be Assigned) Qualifications NM Food Handlers Certification Follow safe food handling procedures Ability to multi-task Enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen environment Knife skills preferred Experience as a cook is an advantage but not essential. Applicants must have a strong desire to learn from the Chefs, work hard, and create delicious food.
