Travel Contract – Medical Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Morgantown, WV

Facility: Mon Health Medical Center

Start Date: August 10, 2026
️ Duration: 13 Weeks (Extension Possible)

Shift: Nights 4x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Requirements

• Active West Virginia RN License

• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required

• ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification preferred

• Minimum 1–2 years of Med Surg and/or Oncology RN experience

• Travel experience not required

• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred

• Strong IV start skills required

Clinical Experience Preferred

• Inpatient Medical-Surgical and Oncology Nursing

• Chemotherapy Administration (Preferred)

• Port & PICC Line Management

• Blood & Blood Product Administration

• Central Line Care

• Neutropenic Precautions

• Oncology Patient Care

• Symptom Management

• Pain Management

• IV Infusions

• Foley Catheter & Ostomy Care

• Patient & Family Education

Unit Highlights

• 12-bed Inpatient Oncology Unit with Med/Surg Overflow

• Patient Ratio: 1:5–6

• Adult & Geriatric Patients

• Every Other Weekend Required

• Cerner EMR

• Facility is open to 13-week or longer contracts

• Up to 2 pre-approved RTO requests

• Attendance expectation: Maximum of 2–3 call-offs during the contract
