Receiving SupervisorEast West Tea is seeking a talented, passionate, and experienced Receiving Supervisor to join our Warehouse team!The Receiving Supervisor will lead all inbound receiving, raw material and packaging warehouse operations, and inventory accuracy functions – ensuring every receipt is accurate, traceable, food-safe and put away on time. Overseeing the full receiving cycle – from appointment scheduling and dock management through unloading, inspection, lot/COA/expiry capture, system receiving, put away, and location accuracy. Ensures full traceability and compliance with GMP and CFR Part 111 requirements, maintains robust SQDCP metrics, and drives continuous improvement in dock-to-stock speed, receiving accuracy, and inventory integrity.Receiving and Inbound OperationsOversees all inbound receiving operations including appointment scheduling, dock management, unloading, inspection, and counts for raw materials (RM), packaging (PKG), and returns (RTVs)Ensures accurate and timely capture of carrier, vendor, part #, lot #, vendor lot, PO, quantity received, UOM, number of units, unit type, pallets, pallet type, BOL pick-up date, COA compliance, and damage on every receiptManages nonconformance, over/short/damage (OS&D) reporting, and escalation to Quality and InventoryManages hazmat inbound handling in compliance with applicable regulations and in coordination with Quality and SafetyInventory Accuracy and PutawayOversees put away operations ensuring product is placed in correct, food-safe locations with full traceabilityMonitors inventory accuracy through cycle counts, location audits, and daily RM/PKG warehouse activitiesManages hold-to-RES and disposition handoffs in coordination with Quality and Inventory teamsKPI, Reporting & Continuous ImprovementOwns and drives performance against key receiving KPIs: receiving accuracy %, average unload time per delivery, total deliveries by RM/PKG/Empty Pallets, total pallets received, COA compliance rate, damage rate, and FTE labor utilizationGenerates quarterly stats summaries including deliveries per month, unload time per month, average unload time, pallets received per month, and RM/PKG split breakdownsContributes to development of SOPs, work instructions, playbooks, and training materialsStaff Development, Compliance and TrainingAssures receiving and warehouse staff receive appropriate training including GMP's, Safety, Material Handling, Equipment, and job-specific modulesTracks certifications, PIT, and training completion for all team membersEnsures all receiving operations comply fully with GMP's and CFR Part 111 Dietary Supplement RegulationsPeople, Policy and OrganizationCreates and communicates work schedules to receiving and warehouse staffWorks with P&C on recruitment and employee relations issues including hiring, performance management, and employee developmentWhat You Know and Have ExperiencedMinimum 3-5 years' experience in a receiving/warehouse roleMinimum 2 years' experience with direct supervision of receiving or warehouse staffHigh level proficiency in warehouse and inventory management systemsERP ExperienceProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPointAbility to comply fully with GMP's and CFR Part 111 Dietary Supplement RegulationsForklift certified or ability to obtain certificationYou'll Be A Great FitStrong critical thinking ability to navigate and solve complex problemsSolid work ethic, self-starter, and result-orientedNatural ability to develop strong, trusting relationshipsEnjoys collaborating with cross-functional partnersResponsible and a high degree of ownershipThrives in an ever-changing work environmentEffectively managing a multitude of work responsibilitiesBalances attention to detail and swift executionWhat We DoWe manufacture Yogi and Choice Organics brand products.
