Enclosure Assembler: Richmond, Illinois

Our customer in Richmond, Illinois is looking for a dependable, detailoriented individual to join their team as an Enclosure Assembler to work fulltime on 2nd shift. In this role, you will assemble electrical enclosures and components by following schematics and work instructions while supporting production and quality goals in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities of the Enclosure Assembler:

• Prepare and organize components prior to assembly.
• Assemble electrical enclosures and install panels and components.
• Use power tools to cut, drill, and assemble enclosures as needed.
• Read and follow schematics and assembly instructions
• Perform visual inspections to ensure finished products meet specifications.
• Troubleshoot basic assembly issues and report concerns as needed.
• Move materials using a forklift or overhead crane as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and work instructions at all times.

Enclosure Assembler Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical diploma preferred.
• 1–2 years of related assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a forklift and overhead crane.
• Basic math skills and ability to follow measurements and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Pay for Enclosure Assembler: $18.00–$19.00/hour.
