Practice Setting and Clinical Scope This role involves working in both clinic and hospital settings, providing comprehensive OB/GYN care. You will be on-call, engaging in routine and complicated deliveries, including C-sections and other advanced obstetric procedures. The practice supports occasional high-risk deliveries, with most high-risk cases referred to tertiary centers, ensuring a balanced and manageable workload. Schedule and Assignment Details The assignment begins at 7 am on June 25, 2026, and concludes at 7 am the following day, June 26, 2026. The locum physician must remain within a 30-minute radius while on call. The call schedule supports a 1:4 rotation, allowing for consistent and predictable engagement. The potential for additional sporadic coverage offers flexibility and continuity. Support and Work Environment As part of a cohesive team of four physicians, you will function in a well-supported environment with access to nursing staff and advanced practice providers. The hospital features 45 staffed beds and a 20-room emergency department. The team utilizes the Meditech Expanse EMR system for efficient documentation and patient management, ensuring smooth operations and effective patient care. Qualifications Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible within one year of graduation from an ABOG or AOA-accredited OB/GYN residency. Active Ohio medical license required. Minimum of 50 deliveries in the last 12 months, including at least five C-sections. Current certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
