EXPERIENCED AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN

Compensation

5-Day Work Week: $1,000/week
6-Day Work Week: $1,200/week

Confidence Auto Center is looking for a highly experienced, dependable, and versatile Automotive Technician to join our team. We are seeking a true all-around technician who is comfortable handling everything from routine maintenance and tire work to advanced diagnostics and major engine repairs.

This position is intended for an experienced technician who can work independently, diagnose problems accurately with the aid of a scanner, complete repairs efficiently, and take pride in doing the job correctly.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate should have extensive hands-on experience in a professional automotive repair shop and be comfortable working on a wide variety of makes and models.

You should have strong experience with:

• Advanced vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Check engine light and electrical diagnostics
• Engine repair and engine rebuilding
• Engine removal and replacement
• Timing chains and timing belts
• Cooling systems and overheating diagnosis
• Suspension and steering systems
• Brake systems, including ABS diagnosis
• Alternators, starters, batteries, and charging systems
• Air-conditioning and heating systems
• Fuel and ignition systems
• Oil and fluid leaks
• Tune-ups and preventative maintenance
• Tire mounting, balancing, rotation, repair, and replacement
• Wheel and suspension inspection
• Use of professional scan tools and diagnostic equipment
• Reading wiring diagrams and technical repair information

Responsibilities

The technician will inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain customer vehicles while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.

You will be expected to accurately identify vehicle problems, communicate needed repairs to the service team, perform repairs efficiently, and verify that repairs have been completed correctly before the vehicle is returned to the customer.

We value technicians who can diagnose rather than simply replace parts .

Qualifications

Applicants should have:

Extensive professional automotive repair experience

A strong mechanical and diagnostic background

Ability to perform both light-duty and major mechanical repairs

Experience working on domestic, Asian, and European vehicles is strongly preferred

Ability to work independently without constant supervision

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to maintain an organized and safe work area

Reliable attendance and professional work habits

A valid driver's license

ASE certifications are a plus, but extensive real-world experience and demonstrated ability are highly valued.

Schedule & Pay

Option 1 — 5-Day Work Week

Monday - Friday: 7 am - 5 pm
Weekly Pay: $1,000

Option 2 — 6-Day Work Week

Monday - Friday: 7 am - 5 pm

Saturday - 8 pm - 4 pm
Weekly Pay: $1,200

Final schedule and employment terms will be discussed during the interview.

Who We're Looking For

We are not looking for an entry-level technician or someone who only performs oil changes and basic maintenance .

We are looking for an experienced, well-rounded automotive professional who can confidently take on jobs ranging from a tire repair or brake job to advanced electrical diagnosis, timing-chain work, engine replacement, or complete engine rebuilding.
