Responsibilities
- Assist event staff with setup and breakdown of events, including decor, seating arrangements, and equipment.
- Support kitchen operations by assisting with food preparation, plating, and garnishing under the guidance of the culinary team.
- Provide attentive and friendly service to guests during events, ensuring a positive experience.
- Help manage guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
- Participate in post-event cleanup and organization.
- Gain exposure to various aspects of event management, from logistics to client interaction.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university program, preferably pursuing a degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business, or a related field.
- Strong desire to learn and gain hands-on experience in the catering and event industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as dictated by event schedules.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to assist with various tasks as needed.
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation principles is a plus.
