SAP ABAP Developer

Purple DriveSAP ABAP Developer 15+ yrs, SAP - ABAP Developer with S/4 HanaOverview:Design, develop, and optimize applications using ABAP programming in S/4HANA. Create and maintain Data Dictionary objects (Tables, Views, Domains, Data Elements, Search Helps, Lock Objects, CDS Views). Develop reports using ABAP List Viewer (ALV) with both Function Modules and Object-Oriented approaches. Implement ABAP/4 techniques such as Module Pool Programming, Function Modules, BAPIs, SAPscripts, SmartForms, and Adobe Forms. Develop and support interfaces using ALE/IDocs, RFCs, FTP, sFTP, Web Services. Perform data migration and conversion using BDC and LSMW. Build and expose CDS Views as external APIs for data consumption. Develop and manage OData services and SAP Gateway services. Work with SAP APIs and leverage HANA Studio for CDS and performance tuning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.Required Skills & Experience:Strong experience in SAP ABAP development (minimum X years). Hands-on expertise with S/4HANA ABAP, CDS Views, OData services, and APIs. Proficiency in interface technologies (IDocs, RFC, Web Services). Strong knowledge of SAP Data Dictionary, reporting, and ABAP development techniques. Experience in BDC, LSMW, and data migration. Familiarity with HANA Studio for development and optimization. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Desirable Skills:Experience with Agile methodology (Scrum, SAFe, or similar). Exposure to ECS (Enterprise Central Services). Ability to work in cross-functional and global team environments.
