Docketing Specialist Litigation

Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our client for a Docketing Specialist to support litigation teams by managing court deadlines and maintaining accurate calendaring across multiple jurisdictions. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with court rules and supporting attorneys with timely filings and case management.

Minimum 3+ years of experience in litigation docketing

High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience using docketing or calendaring software (CourtAlert preferred)

Working knowledge of state and federal court rules and deadlines

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy

Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize effectively

Comfortable working in a remote environment with minimal supervision

Professional communication skills across all levels of an organization

Maintain and update legal calendars with court dates, deadlines, and case-related events

Review legal filings and documents to extract and verify critical deadlines

Coordinate with attorneys and legal staff to ensure timely submissions

Validate docket entries to ensure compliance with jurisdictional requirements

Monitor changes in court procedures and communicate updates as needed

Assist with process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency

Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple offices

Support department initiatives and complete special projects as assigned
