Certified Medical AssistantSaratoga Medical currently has an immediate opening for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to work in the Obstetrics clinic at Twentynine Palms military base in California. The CMA will be working a full-time 40 hour work week schedule, Monday through Friday only, with 8.5 to 9 hour shifts scheduled between the hours of 7:00 am - 6:00 pm.ResponsibilitiesPrepare examination rooms prior to patient's arrival.Assist with patient check-ins, admissions, discharges, and transfers as directed.Check patient's vital signs and perform diagnostic procedures when needed.Obtain and document patient's current medical history, drug history, allergies, and vital signs.QualificationsMust be a graduate and possess a certificate for a medical assistant training program accredited by Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) of the American Medical TechnologistsMust have at least one year of experience as a Certified Medical AssistantSaratoga Medical Center, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and will not discriminate in recruiting, hiring, training, promotion, transfer, discharge, compensation or any other term or condition of employment on the basis of race, religion, color, age (over age 39), sex, national origin, or on the basis of disability if the employee can perform the essential functions of the job, with a reasonable accommodation if necessary.
