Job Description

client of Insight Global within the music financing industry is hiring a Jr Underwriter/Document Processor. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end process of a customer's deal and identifying any risks that may affect the assignment of royalties. The Jr. Underwriter will play a crucial role in mitigating risks and keeping all internal interested parties apprised of deal status to ensure a seamless process.\n \nResponsibilities:\n\t· Manage a portfolio of 20-30 customer files, overseeing the entire process from contract review to funding\n\t· Conduct a thorough review and underwriting of customer files within 24 hours of receiving the executed contract and keep internal database up to date with findings\n\t· Process and evaluate customer applications, utilizing analytical skills and internal/market guidelines for accurate assessment\n\t· Communicate effectively with clients, outside vendors/royalty payors, and financial institutions to gather necessary information for assignment completion\n\t· Assist Royalty Specialist with general inquiries and provide them with relevant information as needed throughout the process\n\t· Collaborate with other areas of Music Operations to support the department's daily operational workflow and ensure seamless coordination\n\t· Review reports to identify outstanding items and follow up with royalty payors for resolution\n\t· Analyze credit and search reports, interpret the gathered information and taking appropriate actions
