Senior Operations ManagerDezerland Park Orlando - Orlando, FL 32819OverviewPosition Type Full Time Job Shift AnyDescriptionSenior Operations ManagerThe Senior Operations Manager supports daily operations, guest experience, and team performance across the amusement park. This is a hands-on, floor-based leadership role responsible for keeping attractions, food & beverage, events, and facilities running smoothly and to standard. The Operations Manager helps execute department priorities set by senior leadership, supports frontline supervisors, and ensures consistent guest service and operational standards day to day.Dezerland Park Orlando is more than Florida's largest indoor attraction. We're fostering a culture that feels like family supportive, fun, and collaborative, where every team member plays a part in bringing joy to our guests.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day operations across attractions, food & beverage, retail, and events during assigned shifts.Conduct regular walkthroughs to monitor safety, cleanliness, service quality, and operational efficiency.Ensure adherence to SOPs including ride operations, food safety, cash handling, and emergency procedures.Support planning and execution of special events and high-volume days.Model strong guest service standards and actively engage with guests to resolve issues on the floor.Support guest satisfaction initiatives and help maintain a safe, clean, and fun environment across guest touchpoints.Coach and support supervisors and team members to meet daily operational goals.Assist with onboarding and training new team members.Support day-to-day performance feedback and help maintain a positive, accountable team culture.Support safety checks, maintenance follow-up, and facility upkeep.Help ensure compliance with safety and labor regulations.Coordinate with vendors/contractors on routine repairs as needed.Help manage labor scheduling and basic cost efficiencies within assigned areas.Ensure proper use of POS, ticketing, and inventory systems.Flag operational or cost concerns to senior leadership.Qualifications3+ years of leadership experience in amusement parks, attractions, hospitality, or high-volume entertainment venues.Experience supervising a team and managing daily operations.Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Experience with POS, ticketing, or scheduling systems a plus.Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.Work Environment & ScheduleFull-time, on-site role requiring flexibility based on park operations.Majority of time spent on the floor supporting team members and guests.Requires extended hours during peak seasons, weekends, and holidays.BenefitsCompetitive salaryHealth, dental, vision, and life insuranceShort-term and long-term disabilityPaid time off and holidays401(k) retirement planAnnual performance reviewsEmployee discounts25% off at Deseo Grande Apartments
