Summary

As a Culinary Supervisor at Cityview Healthcare & Rehabilitation, you will play a vital role in overseeing food service operations within our communities. Located in Ohio, this position is essential for maintaining high standards of food quality and safety while ensuring that our residents receive nutritious and delicious meals.

Minimum starting pay rate for the position is $17.00 an hour; pay rate is negotiable based on experience.

The typical schedule for this opportunity is five(5) 8-hour shifts a week. The standard schedule for this position includes an every other weekend rotation. Specific schedules available will be discussed during interview.


This position works opposite our Culinary Director to ensure supervision and guidance in our kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily kitchen operations to ensure efficient food production and service.
• Manage inventory control processes to minimize waste and optimize resources.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean kitchen environment.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety standards.
• Collaborate with dietary staff to create menus that meet the nutritional needs of residents.
• Monitor food quality and presentation to uphold fine dining standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in culinary arts or kitchen management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with staff, residents, and families.
• Experience with inventory control and cost management in a culinary environment.
