Job Summary

Applies the nursing process to plan and manage the care of complex patients in a comprehensive manner. Recognizes complex learning needs and prepares individual teaching plans for patients/families and consistently demonstrates effective patient education to peers. Consistently ensures a comprehensive continuum of care plan in collaboration with the health care team. Demonstrates and role models effective communication and conflict resolution skills. Ensures evidence-based care and continuously monitors patient outcomes. Furthers professional growth by engaging in learning activities according to Board of Nursing standards. Floats across entities to fulfill requirements of the role.

Short-Term Assignment Key Benefits

• Premium Pay - $75/hr
• Medical Insurance benefits available through Temp Force
• Assignment in the same hospital (might float between units)
• RNs typically work 36 40 hours per week based on the unit's needs.

Assignment Duration: 13 weeks

Locations Available: Vanderbilt University Hospital- Nashville, TN

Unit Available: Operating Room (Case Specialties: Plastics, ENT, General, Podiatry, Eyes, and OMFS)

Shifts: Day shift: 7a-5p (40 hours/week)

Qualifications

Registered Nurse Required

Graduate of an approved discipline-specific program (or equivalent experience) and 1 year of recent OR RN experience, Preferred 2 or more years of recent OR experience (experience in Plastics, ENT, General, Podiatry, Eyes, and OMFS preferred)

Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration (LCR): Registered NurseBLS, ACLS, and PALS
