MRI Technologist - South MRI - Weekend Option Evening Shift
Alpha Home Health and Hospice
Role Overview: Responsible for operating MRI scanners in accordance with safety protocols, ensuring patient safety and exam quality. Key Responsibilities Perform MRI procedures by explaining protocols to patients and screening for appropriateness. Administer contrast media intravenously and evaluate images for diagnostic quality. Follow all MRI safety guidelines, including zone management. Accurately document patient information and maintain safety standards. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program; ARRT R certification required. Preferred: Bachelor's in Radiology; MRI certification within one year of hire. Minimum of 1-year MRI experience or completion of an approved MRI training program. Strong problem-solving, technical knowledge, and computer proficiency.
