Associate Technical Designer

Technical Designer, Mid-Level Associate


We are looking for a Mid-Level Associate Technical Designer to join a growing team. This person will support the technical design process from development through production, helping ensure fit, construction, quality, and consistency across product categories.


The right person will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working cross-functionally with design, production, and merchandising partners. This role is ideal for someone who has a solid technical design foundation and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

• Create and update tech packs with clear garment construction and fit details
• Measure samples and evaluate fit throughout development
• Track fit comments and communicate revisions to vendors
• Partner with design and production teams to maintain product intent
• Help ensure consistency in grading, specs, and overall quality standards
• Support fittings and follow up on next steps in a timely way


Qualifications

• Experience in technical design, preferably in apparel
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and fabrication
• Ability to read and manage specifications and measurement details
• Organized, collaborative, and able to manage deadlines
• Proficiency in relevant systems such as Excel, PLM, or Adobe Illustrator is a plus
