Role Scope Design the tooling and fixtures the factory builds with: weld fixtures, assembly jigs, and lifting and handling tools. Own fixtures from concept through proving: tolerance stack-ups, repeatability studies, and sign-off. Manage the tooling lifecycle: maintenance, calibration, revisions, and the register that tracks it all. Design for the operator: fast loading, mistake-proofing, and safe handling of heavy parts. What We're Looking For The below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don't fit this role exactly, tell us where you would. You've designed production tooling and fixtures for fabrication or assembly, and they're still in use. You do stack-ups properly and your fixtures hold tolerance at rate. You've proven fixtures with capability studies, not eyeballs. You design mistake-proofing in rather than inspecting errors out. You revise fast when the product changes. Bonus: Weld fixture design.
