Job Title

Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Full-Time | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for laboring patients in a high-volume Maternal Infant Unit with a 1:1 labor patient ratio
• Assist with and support vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and antepartum patient care
• Deliver newborn and postpartum care with patient ratios of 5–6:1
• Operate GE fetal monitoring equipment and document accurately within Meditech and CPN EMR systems
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including OB techs, nursery nurses, and unit leadership
• Participate in a rotating weekend schedule (every third weekend) and fulfill 12 hours of on-call per 4-week schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Virginia or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NRP certification
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience in an LDRP setting with high birth volumes
• Familiarity with Meditech and/or CPN electronic medical record systems
• Experience with GE fetal monitoring equipment
