Minimum 3.25 GPA. or equivalent experience2 to 5 years of relevant environmental experience or professional internshipsStrong commitment to safety, with the ability to work safely outdoors in variable weather conditions and challenging terrainDetail-oriented with excellent critical thinking and troubleshooting/problem-solving skillsEffective written and verbal communication, organizational, and analytical skillsExperience recording and writing detailed technical data and reports, and building tables and spreadsheets (including tabulation and manipulation of data)Demonstrated attributes to become a strong consultant: team-oriented, eager to learn and grow, self-starter, versatile, and service-orientedHighly organized with a keen eye for detail, while maintaining a big-picture perspectiveHigh-level proficiency in Microsoft Office programsDriver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical areaAbility to maintain flexibility, travel, and work independentlyAbility to pass pre-hire background check and drug testThis position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.Preferred:Master’s degree in a relevant fieldExperience preparing detailed technical reports and managing environmental data setsKey Responsibilities:Provide technical assistance on EHS compliance, sustainability, site investigation and remediation, and due diligence transaction projectsPrepare plans, permits, and reports for hazardous waste, air quality, hazardous material management, oil spill prevention, and NPDES stormwater and wastewater programsPerform environmental compliance assessments and implement corrective actions to ensure regulatory complianceProvide general EHS compliance support to clients, including on-site assistance as neededConduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments to support property transactionsPerform fieldwork including sampling, ecological field studies, drilling, well installation, remedial pilot tests, construction oversight, and system operation and maintenanceCompile and evaluate environmental data and assist in technical report preparationManage multiple projects within scope, budget, and schedule while maintaining high-quality deliverablesWho We Are:As the largest global pure play sustainability consultancy, we partner with the world’s leading organizations, creating innovative solutions to sustainability challenges and unlocking commercial opportunities that meet the needs of today while preserving opportunity for future generations.At ERM we know that creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive work environment is an essential part of making our company a great place to build a career.
