Pharmacist (PRN)

CompleteRx is hiring a Pharmacist (PRN) to join our team at Champion Pharmacy, a retail pharmacy located inside CHRISTUS Southern New Mexico in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Pharmacy Operating Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 6pm Saturday and Sunday, 10am - 4pm This position will provide coverage as needed for call-outs, vacations, and holidays. Why Join CompleteRx? What You Will Do Ensure safe, appropriate, cost-effective drug therapies for patients according to established policies, procedures, and protocols. Interpret drug orders (verbal and written) and transcribe to computerized patient medication profiles accurately. Assist with pharmacokinetics consult service and drug dosing per hospital protocol. Maintain accurate, complete pharmacy patient medication profiles. Complete all assigned medication storage area inspections in a timely manner. Supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel as assigned by the Director of Pharmacy. Build and nurture relationships with physicians and nursing. What You Will Need Licensed to practice pharmacy in the State of New Mexico. One year of experience as a registered pharmacist preferred. Retail 340B experience preferred. APhA Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery certification preferred or willing to become certified.
