Our extensive range of services include supply chain design and innovation, warehousing, efficient distribution and fulfillment, freight brokerage, transportation management, and specialized e-commerce fulfillment solutions.The 1st shift Facilities Maintenance Technician works in cooperation with DC General Manager and the Maintenance Supervisor to perform the maintenance of equipment and facilities of an automated distribution center.Benefits include healthcare, Life Insurance, Medical, Dental, Vision, Company match 401k, paid vacation and holidays, career advancement, and tuition reimbursement.Responsibilities for Conveyor Maintenance Tech:Perform routine preventive maintenance on production machinery, equipment, and building systemsTroubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issuesAssist with installation, setup, and modification of manufacturing equipmentConduct inspections to identify potential equipment or facility issues before they become major problemsMaintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and documentationEnsure all maintenance tasks are completed in compliance with safety policies and regulationsCollaborate with production staff to minimize downtime and maintain efficiencySupport facility upkeep, including lighting, HVAC, plumbing, and general building repairsRespond promptly to emergency repair needsQualifications for Maintenance Tech:2-4 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.Candidates should be technically proficient, as well as comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentMust have previous Conveyor experience.Must be familiar with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, AC motors and variable frequency drivesAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprintsLanguage RequirementsAbility to hear, read and comprehend, write, and communicate.Physical and Mental RequirementsRegularly required to bend, kneel, stoop, crawl, climb ladders both caged and un-caged as well as stairs and other equipment.Continually required to stand and walk.Manually lift certain items (routinely requires the ability to lift 50 pounds but may require the ability to lift up to 100 pounds).Ability to work at heights up to 30'.The physical demands herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
