Making advanced technology ubiquitous means building at scale, and that's exactly what we're doing at Mesh.We are seeking a Receiving Specialist to support the full lifecycle of incoming materials. This is a hands-on role—you'll work closely with engineering, operations, and purchasing to make sure the right materials are in the right place at the right time. This is a ground-floor opportunity: you won't just maintain a system, you'll help us build one and improve it over time.ResponsibilitiesAccept, unbox, and process all incoming shipments including semiconductor wafers, optical components, PCBs, electronic components, mechanical parts, and raw materials/chemicalsVerify incoming materials against purchase orders and packing slips, confirming correct part numbers, quantities, revisions, and conditionReview and verify accompanying documentation including certificates of conformance (CoCs), material certifications, and data sheetsIdentify, flag, and document damaged, incorrect, or nonconforming shipments; coordinate with purchasing and vendors to resolve discrepanciesTransact all receipts in the ERP/inventory management system accurately and in a timely mannerApply traceability labels and barcodes to serialized or lot-controlled parts per established proceduresMaintain accurate stock records through regular cycle counts and periodic physical inventoriesEnsure proper handling and storage conditions for sensitive materials (ESD-sensitive components, optics, chemicals, wafers)Support kitting and material staging for production buildsMaintain disciplined documentation and MES traceability.QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent certificate1+ years of experience in receiving, inventory, warehouse, or stockroom roleExperience working in a manufacturing, electronics, or technical environmentProficiency with an ERP or inventory management systemAbility to read and verify purchase orders, packing lists, and material documentationComfortable with barcode scanners, label printers, and related warehouse toolsProcess disciplined, detail-oriented, and calm under pressureAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and carrying for the majority of a shiftPreferred ExperienceExperience handling sensitive or regulated materials such as semiconductor wafers, optical components, ESD-sensitive electronics, or industrial chemicalsFamiliarity with inspection documentation including certificates of conformance, lot traceability, or material certsExperience building or improving inventory systems, SOPs, or storage layouts from scratch (startup or early-stage environment a plus)Exposure to quality concepts such as nonconforming material control, corrective action, or MRB (material review board)Compensation and Benefits:Pay range: Receiving Specialist: $26.00 - $38.00/per hourTitle and base salary are determined on a case by case basis commensurate with experience and merit.In addition to base salary, compensation for this role includes:Eligibility for long-term incentives including company stock options and discretionary bonuses awarded for exceptional achievements.Comprehensive medical, vision, and dental insurance with significant cost covered by the company for yourself and dependents.Paid parental leave and flexible PTO (3 weeks accrued vacation and 10 company holidays per year).401(k) retirement plan access.
