Job Overview Vans is an authentic skateboarding brand that seeks an energetic and customer‑focused Seasonal Sales Associate to serve as the face of the brand. The role is performed in a fast‑paced retail environment during the peak season, with the possibility of transitioning to full‑time employment. Key Responsibilities Deliver a high level of personalized customer engagement through genuine interactions. Build sales by maintaining a consumer‑centric mindset and modeling selling behaviors. Share relevant product, brand, and community knowledge to enhance the customer experience. Achieve individual and team sales goals by utilizing available resources and tools. Assist in visual merchandising, product replenishment, and maintaining brand presentation standards. Perform cashier duties and support loss prevention initiatives as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and customer‑ready store environment. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Model inclusive behavior that respects diverse backgrounds and experiences. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; hands‑on experience and demonstrated achievements are valued. Ability to genuinely and comfortably engage with a diverse group of customers. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and adapt to changing business needs. Customer service experience preferred; retail experience is a plus. Willingness to learn and share product and brand knowledge. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Proficient computer skills including basic retail systems and applications. Ability to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, squatting, climbing ladders, and lifting light to moderate weight, with or without reasonable accommodation. Compensation and Hiring Range Pay: $15.00 – $19.20 USD per hour.
