This opportunity will be supporting our babies in the nursery. Schedule : 7 pm - 7 am, Night Shift, Part-Time Department : Family Care Unit (Nursery) Location : Brunswick Medical Center Skills: Seeking Level II NICU Experience to support our youngest Neonates What You'll Do Provide comprehensive nursing care to healthy and at-risk newborns during transition, stabilization, hospitalization, and discharge. Monitor maternal and fetal status, recognizing and responding to changes in condition. Collaborate with OB providers, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes. Educate and support patients and families throughout the birthing and postpartum experience. Advocate for individualized, patient-centered birth plans while ensuring evidence-based care. What We're Looking For Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred . Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course. Experience: One-year of RN Work experience, required. Seeking Level II NICU Experience to support our youngest Neonates, preferred. Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. Why Choose Novant Health?
