Civil Engineer - Site Development (PE Required)

The Project Engineer - Site Development will play a crucial role in managing and executing site development projects from start to finish. Projects will primarily consist of K-12, universities, healthcare facilities, as well as municipal projects. This role involves designing, planning, and implementing various site development activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and client specifications.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading site development projects, ensuring timely and within-budget execution.
• Conducting site assessments and evaluations for development opportunities.
• Preparing and reviewing site design plans, including grading, drainage, and utilities.
• Coordinating with contractors and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
• Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including SWPPP and erosion/sediment control measures.
• Monitoring construction activities and providing technical support to field teams.
• Preparing reports and documentation related to project progress and compliance.

Qualifications:

• NYS Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in site development and engineering.
• Strong knowledge of site design principles and practices.
• Experience with paving, grading, drainage, and utility installations.
• Familiarity with stormwater management practices and regulations including SWPPP.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
